Multiple Formats Art Book Fair

Exhibitor applications for the 2026 Multiple Formats Art Book Fair are still open and will close at midnight (EST) on Monday, February 9.

This year's fair will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 11 AM to 6 PM, and is free and open to the public.
Last year, more than 150 exhibitors presented their work.

About the Event
Launched in 2022, Multiple Formats is an inclusive platform for artist book publishing that foregrounds self-initiated work, experimentation, and community exchange. The Art Book Fair brings together artists, publishers, and independent presses working across artist books, zines, and experimental publishing.

Multiple Formats will take place at Boston University’s School of Visual Arts, located at 808 Commonwealth Ave, within a 6,000-square-foot, street-level gallery space. The fair will be held in the 808 Gallery—a former Cadillac Oldsmobile showroom—as well as in adjacent classroom and hallway spaces.

Come to Boston and make a weekend of it: walk along the Charles River, browse local bookstores and museums, and decide for yourself whether the line at Modern Pastry Shop is worth the wait.

Questions can be directed to multipleformatsartbook@gmail.com
